RJ Viñedos cultivates over 120 hectares of vineyards located mostly within the province of Mendoza and also in the Salta province as well. In Mendoza, one of Argentina´s most beautiful provinces that is accredited for approximately 80% of all wine production in the country, the winery manages vineyards in the regions of Maipú, Lujan de Cuyo, and the Uco Valley. These three regions are referred to as “the first zones” and are recognized around the country as the best regions to produce quality wines. In Salta, a province in the northern region of the country, the winery has a plot of land (of about 10 hectares) in the region of Cafayate in the Calchaquíes Valleys approximately 1.750 meters above sea level (5.700 ft). We consider this to be the best terroir to produce Torrontes, a wine that comes from a white grape native to Argentina.
